Dietrich Bonhoeffer, (1906-1945), was a German Lutheran pastor, theologian, anti-Nazi dissident, and key founding member of the Confessing Church. He was associated with the plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler, arrested, tried and sent to Flossenburg concentration camp where he was hung. With Appendix, Notes and Indexes. Spotting to all edges, d/w has minor edge chipping; d/w rear panel has spotting and light dusting; else a very good plus copy, in a very good plus d/w, of the first edition.
