About This Item
The Ellis Island Immigrant Hospital was opened in 1892. After WW I, when America all but stopped allowing immigration, the hospital shit down. This is it's history. Lots of archival, and some contemporary, photographs. The book is in near fine condition with only slight shelf wear. The jacket has a small tear at the bottom of the spine. Signed by the author on the first fly leaf (no inscription)

About mark mcdonald
Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
