China: Chinese Materials Center, 1981. Cloth. Good/Good. Orange cloth in yellow dust jacket. 458 pp. With a few photos/illustrated plates. A memoir of the author's experiences growing up and living in China during the early 20th century, documenting Chinese culture through the eyes of a foreigner, as well as chronicling the various social and political events in China during that period. Fitch was an artist noted for her work in stained glass, and illustrated a book by Madame Chiang Kai-shek. GOOD condition. Heavy uneven fading and offsetting to the jacket, with heavy foxing to the jacket along the hinges of the spine and flaps. Some soiling, spotting and minor staining to the jacket. Extremities with minor creasing, scuffing and bumping. Minor uneven fading to the book. Light edgewear. Light toning in the interior.
