NOT ex-library. Rebound copy includes original paper covers; half-bound (spine, part of the boards, and corners) in green leather with gilt ruled borders over green cloth. Spine has two raised bands with gilt dashes. Top panel has gilt title; long center panel has gilt rule borders and dot pattern. Floral device in bottom panel. Marbled endpapers. Top edges gilt. Original color paper front cover and final Ex Oriente Lux back cover bound in. Full-color frontispiece. Text pages have green decorative borders and red embellishments. Leather lightly worn at edges. Spine leather faded to olive green; gilt still bright. Covers have light edge and surface wear and a few bubbles in the cloth surface. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Name in ink on first blank flyleaf after endpapers. Text pages clean and unmarked. A few small pencil notations in corners of last blank pages. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Free endpapers darkened at edges from contact with leather. 159 pages. Printed by G. Kadar, Paris. "Vingt et Unieme Edition". No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
