Hundreds of b&w photos and drawings. Two fold-out coloured maps. Covers somewhat worn at edges, spotted, corners bumped. Small label on rear pastedown. Inscriptions and marks in pencil.

Herbert Wrigley Wilson, British journalist and historian, wrote this detailed account of the Boer War, including descriptions of every battle. The last section includes interesting Lessons of the War, Vocabulary of Boer and Kaffir Words, casualty tables, and an index.
