The September 1931 1st edition of this highly-regarded "narrative of Mr. Currie's experiences in tracking down elusive first issues or in acquiring famous manuscripts". Solid and VG+ (light spotting at the spine) in a crisp, price-clipped, VG+ dustjacket, with light wear along the front flap-fold and mild soiling to the panels and the spine. Still though, very presentable. Thick octavo, includes "Close-Ups of the Rare Book Dealer at His Worst and His Best", "An Expose of How the Bulls Boom Books" "Many Confessions of Inept and Reckless Collecting":, "An Analysis and Defense of Book Madness", etc.
