Size is octavo (8vo), 8.75"/22cm h. Bound in publisher's red cloth, bright gilt lettering to spine. Red topstain. Glossy color pictorial dj. Plain white endpapers. 298 numbered pp, plus frontispiece and 10 more pp glossy b&w plates scattered through text. Intro, 15 chaps, bibliography, index. Notes passim. Condition notes: spine slightly cocked, ends rolled, corners sharp; topstain uneven, occasional bumps and rubbing to boards. Unclipped dj w rubbed spots, top edge small tears and chips, minor moisture staining. Endpapers each with several prominent regular tan spots, possibly tape residue (no sticking); ffep with former owner's address label affixed. All else excellent: no notes or highlighting. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
Furrowed Brow Books' goal is to offer an eclectic selection, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Inklings emphasis), and military history.
