About This Item

From front DJ flap: "C-SPAN's yearlong history series, 'First Ladies: Influence and Image', featured interviews with more than fifty preeminent historians and biographers. In this informative book, these experts paint intimate portraits of all forty-five first ladies - their lives, ambitions, and unique partnerships with their presidential spouses." Book - Very Good condition. White paper over boards with gold gilt on spine. Bottom corners are bumped. Otherwise very minimal edge/corner wear. Pages are clean and binding is tight. Dust Jacket - Very Good condition. Front bottom corner has a tiny closed tear, otherwise very minimal edge/corner wear. Back has a couple light bumps and a row of shiny spots if held just right in the light. This cover is not "slick" paper, instead it has more of a satin finish. There also appears to be a bit of label residue on the top front of the cover. 462 pages including Index.
