The South African Natural History Publications Company (Pty) Ltd., Johannesburg, 1959. First Edition. Softcover. Good/No Jacket. Findlay, Dick (artist). Signed. Folio of 12 colour plates (loose), plus descriptive text. Inscribed and signed by Dick Findlay on the front page (dated: Feb. 1962). First series; first printing. The covers have a clear cellophane protective cover. The covers are worn about all edges and along the spine. Although a little fragile, it is secure. The contents are loose from the covers. The frontis and end pages are tanned and crisp. The text pages are mildly marked by age. They are affable, clean, clear. The plates have some tanning about the edges but the bodies are fresh. The plates are vivid, gentle, vibrant, calming, most suitable for framing and decorative use, healthy and sound. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
