Near Fine in Very Good DJ. 2nd printing, near fine cloth hardcover is tight and clean while showing just the lightest bit of trace wear, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows wrinkle extending length of rear flap and edgewear that includes closed tears, open chips at top edge and tape mends applied at jacket reverse. 1043 pages with a couple sets of black & white plates. Still apleasing copy in jacket of this massive volume that "..embraces the complete history of the game--its great players and dramatic matches through the years as written on the spot by the outstanding tennis writers of each era.
