Cover is shelf worn, top and tail of the spine are worn, corners lightly bumped. Previous owners bookplate on the inside front cover, his name on various pages. Illustrated with 22 plates and a large map in a pocket at the back of the book, before the index. A very good copy of this history of Sir Rudolf Slatin [1857-1932] Anglo-Austrian soldier and administrator in the Sudan1883. Translated by Major Wingate. This is a heavy book and will require additional shipping charges (at cost).
