Collins, London -- Glasgow, 1967. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Good. Illustrator: Roger Hall. and a map of the Isle of Skye at the beginning of the text. The text is illustrated with three black-and-white illustrations by Roger Hall. Yellow coloured boards with red coloured titles to the backstrip. Red coloured tint to the top text block edge. Bumping and rubbing to the head and to the heel of the backstrip. Rubbing to the book corners and a little shelf wear to the lower book edges. A few marks to the top text block edge with light browning and faint foxing to the other text block edges. A few handling marks to the text block edges. Light browning to the endpapers and to the internal pages team front hinge has cracked. Illustrated dustwrapper, again by Roger Hall, with white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Author photograph to the rear dustwrapper panel. Rubbing and chipping, with loss to the dustwrapper corners and to the head and to the heel of the backstrip. Heavy rubbing to all creases of the dustwrapper. Rubbing and creasing to both the top and bottom dustwrapper edges and a few small tears are also present. There is a tear measuring 1.5 " to the lower left-hand corner of the front dustwrapper panel and a tear measuring 0.5 " to the lower right-hand corner of the rear dustwrapper panel. Heavy rubbing to the dustwrapper panels and a little yellowing of the rear dustwrapper panel. This is the fourth novel featuring Don and Ian MacDonald, brothers who have an aptitude for getting into trouble. This is the first UK edition. Size: 12mo (standard paperback). VIII, 192 pages,.
