Black and tan boards, gilt lettering very fine on spine, map of Battle of Lake Champlain inside front cover and adjacent end paper, illustration of ship battle inside back cover and adjacent end paper, 271 pages plus catalog. On title page in strong black felt-tip pen: "To Rusty, a fellow Centurion. I hope you like the read, Colonel David Fitz-Enz." DJ has very slight wear at top tips, light creases to most edges, praise on back from General John W. Foss, endorsed by the Army War College. DJ has color-illustration at top front of battle.
