New York: The Film Society of Lincoln Center, 2009. Archive of 157 issues of "Film Comment" magazine, long-running film commentary magazine. Originally released as a quarterly beginning 1962, during the New American Cinema period, with a focus on mainstream, art-house, and avant-garde filmmaking, often with insight by some of the industry's leading figures. Still published to date, expanding their marketing to include podcasts, film festivals, and digital issues.
Highlights of the archive include numerous appearances of Robert DeNiro, Sissy Spacek, directors Truffaut, Renoir, Woody Allen, and Bernardo Bertolucci, and Amos Vogel.
Very Good overall. Light rubbing, foxing, slight roll to most, a few lesser condition. A handful are remainders, many are ex-library.
