The text is illustrated with contemporary black and white photographs. Red speckled boards with gilt titles to the backstrip with light blue coloured tint to the top text edge. Minor rubbing to the edges. Photographic dustwrapper, same illustration as for frontispiece, with maroon coloured background and black and white writing on front panel and spine. Minor rubbing to the dust wrapper corners, but the major damage is sun fading to the spine.
