Boston, MA: Houghton Mifflin, 1958. xxix, 431 pp., light green cloth w/ dark green lettering-decoration; Dust jacket in Mylar cover; Book has wear to corners & spine ends w/ fraying to spine corners & heel; thumb soil to edges of page block; endpapers have brown stains (which goes through to other side) from tape formerly used to attach clear covering to jacket, also prev. owner's name to front pastedown, name-address label & Friends of Library stamp to front endpaper; small brown stains to a couple of pages; Dust jacket has wear & chipping to ends of spine & flap folds w/ a little over 1/8" of material worn away at ends of spine; creasing along edges of spine; wear & tiny creases along flap folds; slight yellowing & minor soil to rear panel; price-clipped; brown tape marks to inside flaps / "Field marks of all trees, shrubs, woody vines growing wild in northeastern and north-central Canada. 645 species illustrated . . .12 pages of tree silhouettes."
