Collection of ten short stories including Scratch Man, The Word In Season and A Tithe For Charity (which is not included in the American edition published prior to the UK first edition).Pelham Grenville Wodehouse was an English author and humourist of the twentieth century.List of previous publications to the verso of the title page. No dust wrapper present. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Very minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. The spine is slightly faded and discoloured. There is some slight spotting to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean. Near Fine

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
