About This Item
Dell, 1964. First Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Good. Dell Publishing, 1964; stated first Dell printing (first paperback printing); 384pp. A slightly shabby, if clean, copy of the relatively uncommon first paperback printing of this feminist classic with interesting provenance. Spine creased once, and bowed, but binding remains intact and sturdy. Wraps chipped at head of spine, one corner chipped, else exterior wear is light. Interior is free of markings save ownership stamp of sociologist Ira Reiss, and a second of him and his wife (and coauthor of some of his work on the family), which has bled a bit onto the first page. Ships same or next day from Dinkytown, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
