Binding of gold quarter cloth with blue titles, blue paper-wrapped boards. Top edge and lower edge sunned. Edges lightly rubbed, front rubbed so blue is faded into greyish-blue in places. Tight, solid, square, sewn binding. Lower text block edge with dusky smudges. Pages clean and unmarked, no tears. Jacket is clean, rubbed, with light edgewear. A detailed account of the last 12 1/2 month of FDR's life, day by day, possibly the most crucial 12 months of the 20th century--the last year of the war in Europe, a year of triumph in the Pacific, the year of the Quebec Conference and Yalta.
