With 103 of Audubon's paintings of American birds in full-page, full color plates, accompanied by Mr. Peterson's commentary on the particular species depicted, including habitat and appearance notes. --- In full green cloth-covered boards with blindstamped image of pelican on cover; titling bright in gilt on spine. --- Top strip on front free endpaper has been cut off; volume is otherwise clean, firm and bright. Dust jacket with chipping and small tears along edges, and with a little age-toning but remaining intact.; Quarto - 11 to 13 in. tall; 160 pages .
