Translated into English by George Mead from the libretto by Michel Carre and Jules Barbier. Based on the poem by Goethe. (1954), no additional dates present. Published in the G. Schirmer Collection of Opera Librettos. Also contains an outline of the story, a cast of characters and synopsis of the scenes. No previous ownership marks. A clean, tight and unmarked copy.
