Foreword by author. 1/4 beige coloured cloth covered backstrip with metallic pink coloured titles. 3/4 cream coloured boards with metallic pink coloured decoration to the front panel. Plaintext dustwrapper with blue coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Black and white photograph of author to the rear fold over panel. Softening of the backstrip edges with bumping of the book corners. Foxing along the book edges and along the rear spine gutter region. Age toning of the textblock edges and pages. Offset tanning and boxing to the end pages; with fine scattered foxing of the textblock edges and of the pages – particularly the first few and last few pages of the book. The dustwrapper is in not great shape – please see photograph. Chipping of the lower dustwrapper corners and to the top right-hand corner of the backstrip. Some small tears to the dustwrapper edges along with a little creasing. Patchy fading of the dustwrapper panels and quite noticeable signing of the backstrip.
