Clean and unmarked; light edgewear to corners and slightly around spine. Top edge tinted red. Fore-edge and lower edge rough cut. Endpapers with green and white photo arrangement illustration. Pencil signature on verso of endpaper. Green lettering and design on title page. Pages clean, unmarked, no tears, they are toned. Very nice condition. Two young men in tumultuous relationships with young ladies correspond with each other about their relationship trials, portraying 18th century social life in England. . 319 pages. 7.8 x 5.5 inches. 1929, Doubleday, Doran and Company, New York, New York, USA
