Very Good +/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 1950 copyright on copyright page, 1951 on title page, but no "A"; presumably a very early printing as the dj price is $2.50; perhaps a second printing of the first?; dj is largely intact & now in mylar but it has several flaws: some toning in area of spine, some small pieces missing especially at spine top & at edge of front flap, few tears, including about a 3-inch separation along the front panel/spine edge & bottom edge of front flap, small ink note under price on front flap, evidence of small area of dampstaining & some staining from a previous tape repair along upper edge of front panel.
