Sampson Low & Marston and Co., Ltd, London, 1891. Reprint. Hardcover (illustrated Cloth). Good Condition. Preface by author. Light green floral design for end pages. Green coloured cloth covered boards with dark green illustration to the front board and back strip, self embossed publisher's design to the rear board, and, gilt coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Gilt to all text edges. A book of poetry, basically rural, including festivals and legends, from the late 19th century. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges with a small's lit to the top back strip edge. Minor bumping and rubbing of the book corners with cocking of the spine. Cracking of the hinges with the underlying webbing visible. Foxing to the text block edges and a little to the pages; the pages are only very likely aged toned. Browning and foxing of the title page and on the page following is a gift inscription dated Christmas 1894. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [3], IV - VIII, [3], 4 - 192 pages,.
