New York: Harper & Brothers, Publishers, 1873. Early edition . Hardcover. Very good plus. From the library of George H. Himes with his signature on the front endpaper and his stamps on the half-title page. Himes helped establish in 1873 the Oregon Pioneer Association, which he served for many years as secretary, and in 1898 he was one of the founding members of the Oregon Historical Society. 108 pages of ballads with many illustrations. Bound in original green cloth with illustration and lettering in gilt and border in black. A very good plus copy.
