Endpapers and prelims starting to fox and tan. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. The author tells of his travels and experiences as a member of the French Foreign Legion.

In overall good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - yellow boards rubbed to edges and a touch darkened. Internally clean. Binding tight; no annotation or inscriptions - owners name to front endpaper; toning to page-ends but text and illustrations bright and clear throughout. Not an old library book.
