Edgar Kaufmann, Jr. (1910-1989) was an American architect and son of Edgar Kaufmann, a wealthy Phildelphian, who commissioned Frank Lloyd Wright to build his masterpiece on a family-owned parcel in rural Pennsylvania. Profusely illustrated, Kaufmann's book examines Fallingwater in stunning detail and is filled with color and b&w photos and drawings, including an interesting color fold-out containing a plan on one side and an east - west section on the other. Contains an index and a bibliography in the rear. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. The dust jacket in similarly nice condition with no chips, tears, or markings. Original white cloth publisher's binding with green spine lettering. It is an oversize book measuring 13.25" x 9.75" and weighs 4 pounds 8 ounces; international and priority shipping will be extra. ; Color & B&W Photos & Illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 190 pages .
