Translated from the original Italian title Un Uomo by William Weaver, about a Greek revolutionary hero who fights alone and to the death for freedom and truth. Fallaci (1929-2006) was an Italian journalist and author and became famous worldwide for her coverage of war and revolution and her "long, aggressive and revealing interviews" with many world leaders. A Man is based on Alexandros Panagoulis, with whom Fallaci had a long relationship. She maintained that he was assassinated due to his work with the Greek resistance and his (unsuccessful) assassination attempt of Greek dictator Georgios Papadopoulos. A Man received the Italian awards Premio Viareggio and Premio Nazionale. 9½ x 6½". 0671252410.
