Large-format presentation of 16 of Andersen's many tales. Condition of this book: Covers rubbed at extremities, rear panel blemished and scratched, front has minor stains and has lost some silvering, spine also has lost some silver, rear hinge cracked. Overall good to very good. First edition of the work in this format and binding, and/or set or series. Size: Quarto. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
