About This Item
London: Conway Maritime Press Ltd, 1985. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Plus/Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" Oblong. N/a. 120pp. 1985. First edition. 4to. oblong sized. A very good plus, clean, tight copy in a very good jacket. Part of the very popular Anatomy of the Ship series. Original publisher's grey boards - gilt embossed to the spine. The text supported by numerous photographic reproductions and line drawings. No inscriptions. Slight uniform fading to the spine of the book - concealed by the jacket and a strip of light fading to the front board running along the joint edge. The jacket has not been price-clipped - it too has some uniform fading to the spine - the title in blue remains very legible (though its colour has faded too). Slight rubbing to the jacket at the head of the spine and to a couple of jacket corners. An open nick to the jacket at the head of the front panel on the joint. The jacket has some light or slight shelf wear. A light crease to the upper corner of the front flap. A very good plus, clean, tight copy in very good jacket.
