There is some rubbing of the edges of the fold over flaps and of the folds of the spine. Original bookseller's sticker at the lower right-hand corner of the front illustrated paste down. Age toning of the edges of the text block, and a small faint red mark on the lower portion of the front edge. Married to the director of the National Gallery of Victoria, Joan Lindsay was automatically included in the invitation for the director to visit the United States and take a professional look at the great American collections. This book is the result of that visit to the United States and is written with that brilliance of recall and communication made Lady Lindsay's Time Without Clocks so delectable an event in the literary scene.
