Personal gift inscription by "Jill". Krementz' first book, uncommon signed. A record of a year, August '65 to August '66 in South Vietnam. Brelis, an NBC correspondent, and Krementz, (widow of Kurt Vonnegut) a free lance photojournalist, went to cover the war seperately and then collaborated on this remarkable book. Among the iconic events of the 1960's she covered Dr. King's March on Washington in August, 1965 and the 1967 "March on the Pentagon." From Wikipedia: Jill Krementz (born 19 February 1940) is a well known photographer and author. She has published 31 books, mostly of photography and children's books....Her color photography of the "March on the Pentagon" was featured on the cover of The New York Times Magazine. In 1965, she spent a year taking photographs in Vietnam during the Vietnam War." Most items ship with tracking numbers and (generally over $15.00) jacket protectors if applicable.
