Chicago: Herbert S. Stone and Co., 1900. hardcover. Very good. Newman, Clyde J.. Illustrated by Clyde J. Newman. Dark yellow cloth covers (approx. 4 1/2" wide by 6 1/4" tall) with design in blue and black over yellow and with black titles. 201 pages plus 1 page of publisher's ads for Ade's books and 1 page colophon. Very small former owner bookplate on front paste-down endpaper. "Nineteenth thousand" on copyright page. Inscription to un-named recipient: " A good Jolly is worith whatever you pay for it / George Ade / Chicago -Aug 8 - 1900". Light wear and soil on covers.
