All sides are fully intact, but there are a substantial number of chips out of the paper covering. Extremely heavy book. Text entirely in French. Size: Elephant Folio - over 15" - 23" tall. 864 pp. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Moderately foxed throughout. Previous owner's inscription on endpapers. Deckled edges (rough cut). Top edge gilt in good condition. 3/4 Leather covering with decorative pattern on the rest of the covers. In Very Good condition, with some bumping on the corners and spine caps.
