London, Printed for R. Francklin, 1744 1st. Hardback, 8 x 5 inches. In full polished speckled calf leather fine binding, gilt line paneled boards, raised and gilt banding to spine with gilt lettering to leather spine label. Red speckled page edges, plain endpapers. In very good condition. Chip to front board on top leading corner. Spine has been professionally rebacked with later leather to spine. Some occasional mild foxing spots. No penned inscriptions. Small repair to margin edge of plate at Fable I. Some minor foxing else plates clean and bright, except plate 16 which has some staining, and to adjacent pages. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 173pp. Illustrated with 16 engraved plates PLUS engraved frontis plate and vignette engraving to title page (18).
