A near fine book with light toning to the page edges as always found with this type of paper. Quarter bound with black cloth covered spine running into the front and rear boards, with salmon covered paper-covered front and rear boards with bright gilt titling to the spine. A little VERY light 'turning' to the head/tail of the spine from storage, but NO damage. In a near fine d/w that is NOT price clipped, and only marked as 'near fine' due some slight discolouration to the top edges of the inner flaps, o/w FINE. The d/j is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks As NEW. FIRST EDITION, FIRST Printing with the Correct Printers Key - 1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2.The page fore-eges have a very few, very scattered and very light foxing (very pale spots) - negligible - o/w NO inscriptions or marks. Plain cream endpapers. (10) + 261 pp. SIGNED in ink By The AUTHOR, in what looks like an Italic pen, and dedicated "For Pat..."F" is for Friendship Sue Grafton 4-8-89". With a Certificate of Authenticity. The 6th book in the Kinsey Millhone (Private Investigator) Alphabet Crime Series, which first appeared in the US in 1982, and which series became a great hit for the author who got wonderfully to Y, but sadly died before she could complete Z. Synopsis
