Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges.

London: Nelson "Personal" scenes, some imaginary, from 27 historical incidents, ranging from Caesar's invasion of Britain in BC 55 to Balfour's General Election of 1906. ND or publishing details, but foreword dated 1908. Blue covers with gilt, 284pp plus adverts. Decorated endpapers. Covers bumped and rubbed at head and foot of spine and lightly at other extrems. Boards are slightly bowed.
