The primary subjects are the land and the natural forces that affect it-sun, storm, tides, volcanic eruption, erosion, etc. Introduction by Ansel Adams. Includes a section of notes- printed descriptions of the various photographs. 184 pgs. Dustjacket slightly rubbed on rear cover with a few tiny closed edge tears; in mylar. Prior owner's inscription on front endpaper opposite the half-title pg. A few isolated slight fingerprint creases on some of the page margins, the majority of which are barely noticeable.
