Thomas Tegg, 1839. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1839. Twenty-First Edition. 564 pages. Fully bound in brown suede leather. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed throughout. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding and some pages loose. Previous owner's inscription to pastedowns and free endpapers. Heavy cracking to hinges with exposed binding and board partially detached. Binding remains firm. Some moderate brown staining to pages, text remains readable. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate loss to spine ends. Leather peeling to all surfaces, with noticeable scuffing and scratches. Moderate splits along joints, with boards loose. Mild dark staining to spine. Moderate tanning to spine and board edges.
