Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. 1685, the Third Edition, corrected. Parts II and III bound in one volume. Size Folio, 12.5" x 7.75", Part II - Title, Dedicatory Epistle, i preliminary leaf, 520 pages, plus unnumbered Errata leaf. Part III - Title, Dedicatory Epistle, Half-title, i preliminary leaf, 197 pages, and unnumbered Errate left to verso of page 197. Original binding of dark brown mottled calf, with five raised bands to the spine and gilt titles on recent brown morocco label in the second compartment, gilt decoration to cover edges, page edges speckled red, original pastedowns and endpapers, original covers have been professionally rebacked with the original spine laid down and new title label. Condition very good, restored binding is sound, original pastedowns and endpapers still present, all titles and half titles present. Old owner's inscription "Wm. Spurway 1766 to front free endpaper, the odd one light spot to margin of the occasional page here and there, other than this the pages are very clean throughout, the large texts sharp and easy to read.
