Thick octavo. 624pp. Illustrated with plates and one color map in the preliminary and a folding map of the Nile tributaries in Abyssinia in rear. Brown cloth, bind-stamped and ruled on boards, gilt-stamped spine. Page edges faintly dampstained, lacking half-title page, front hinge cracked, spine sunned with short tears on ends, about very good without dustwrapper as issued.
