London: B. T. Batsford, 1888. Book. Good. Hardcover. First Edition. Folio. pp. [2], 9, [1]; 36 b/w plates with original paper guards. Original red cloth binding, boards with bevelled edges; rebacked preserving original spine, therefore good and strong, cloth somewhat marked with uneven fading, some old rubbing and scuffing. Contents clean and tight, no foxing or inscriptions, a few early pages a little worn/rubbed and toned to edges with a few very short nicks, single corner tip to plate 3 pinched off (approx 5 x 10mm), not nearly near affecting image. Otherwise plates all clean and crisp. A good to very good copy tightly bound..
