About This Item
Willamantic, CT: De-Evolutionary Times, 1981. 4to, [25] pp, photo-mechanically reproduced. Side-stapled.
A remarkable early 80's connection between the poetry and post-punk zine scenes, this little known post punk fanzine edited by the poets George Butterick, and Ed Kaplan. A fascinating zine, dense and text heavy with no illustrations other than the front and back covers. As well as ton of record reviews, this issue also features in depth interview wtih the Buzzcocks and Athletico Spizz.
Staples a bit oxidized, back cover with a long vertical tear separating it from the lower two staples, but still holding to upper staple. Good only, but scarce - we didn't know that this zine even existed until ten minutes ago. OCLC locates holding at only two institutions.
