Professionally rebound in blue textured cloth with marbled boards (wave pattern in blue orange-yellow and white and superimposed irregular droplet pattern), royal blue label with gold titling colour frontis, " Evening at the Well ", 31 coloured illustrations of pictures painted by James Clark each with a tissue guard, 279pp, 240 x 188mm. Binding as new, condition of text and illustrations very good, reverse of frontispiece showing very slight foxing. A description of Palestine as observed by the author and compared with biblical times. An index of 259 scripture references.
