Society For Promoting Christian Knowledge, 1877. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1877. New Edition. 422 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth with gilt lettering. B&W illustrations throughout. Minimal foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Both hinges severely cracked with netting visible, thus the boards are slack. Some gutter cracking. Mild wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners, with tanning to spine. Small splits (approx. 1cm) and chipping to spine ends. Notable scuffing, staining and marking to boards.
