The Ecclesiastical History of Eusebius in parallel Greek and Latin columns, followed by the Life of Constantine. Full title is: (In Greek) Eusebiou tou Pamphilou Ekklesiastike Historia, (in Latin) Eusebii Pamphili Ecclesiasticae Historiae Libri Decem. Ejusdem de Vita Imp. Constantini, Libri IV. ... This is the first in a series of three works; the second treats of Socrates Scholasticus and the third of Hermias Sozomen. Each work has a separate title, but this volume has a general title followed by the specific title. The entire issue was edited by William Reading. Bound to style in quarter leather. Spine in six compartments with raised bands, black leather lettering piece, gilt, marbled paper boards, vellum corners. The half tittle and general title have oval stamps form a former owner; sometime closely trimmed by a binder but still with large, ample margins; a very good to near fine copy. In Latin and Greek.
