Ann Arbor: William L. Clements Library. Very Good-. 1944. First Edition. Softcover. Father Levaduox was the priest at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Detroit, and his eulogy was delivered in French. While Detroit and the region containing modern Michigan was surrendered to the United States in the Treaty of 1783, the actual transfer did not occur until Detroit was surrendered by the British to Gen. Anthony Wayne. One year later, Father Levadoux delivered his eulogy. This pamphlet was published in an edition of 2000 copies. Edited and translated by Edward B. Ham. The covers are blue, stapled wrappers with black cover printing. Described as Bulletin #40. There is a ring mark on the rear wrapper cover, else this is a clean and tight copy with no interior or exterior markings; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 28 pages .
