"This is a copy of the Fine Edition, One Hundred in number, printed on Hand-Made Paper, and containing an Original Illustration by the Author. This is Number 52. (Signed) Charles G. Leland." Publisher's full terra-cotta cloth, spine in six compartments separated by black borders, red lettering in three compartments, reverse black illustrations in three compartments, black borders, red lettering, and intricate reverse black illustrations on cover; t.e.g., fore and bottom edges deckle. Illustrated with monochrome tissue-protected frontispiece and numerous B&W in-text drawings throughout. . Covers lightly rubbed, corners mildly bumped, some bibliographic noptes on fep, otherwise unmarked, tight, and square. All of the text and illustrations are clean and bright. Extremely scarce. NEAR FINE. . 4to 11" - 13" tall. 385 pp. Signed by Author .
