NY & London: Funk & Wagnalls. 1922. 1st edition.. Hardcover. NEAR FINE book, no DJ. Tight binding. 1st, same 1922 tp & cp date. 9"x6". 627pp. Gilt lettered blue cloth scuffed a bit. . ZERO sunning. Very bright gilt lettered spine & upper board. Internally, NO aging, foxing, browned pastedowns or eps, marginalia, etc. All three text block edges almost clean as new. 15 full page b/w photo plates, last a double page. ALSO: book tends to stay closed when stood on its spine. So, read with care, if at all. FLAWS: (1) mildly scuffed spine ends and tips, one tip bumped a bit. (2) Front hinge paper with hair line cracks, hinge itself sound. .
